Unit 1- Capitalization
Capitalize the word "I" in a sentence. Capitalize special family names. Capitalize every words in the date and greeting of a letter, but only the first word in the closing. Capitalize abbreviations. Capitalize the first letter in someone's title, when it is used in front of their name. Capitalize the days of the week, months of the year, and holidays (but not the seasons used generally). Capitalize the first word of a quotation. Capitalize all important words in the titles of books, plays, poems, songs, movies, events in history, time periods (but not century numbers), and geographic locations.
